The South Bend Museum of Art is bringing KID BEAT! to a special section of DTSB’s Art Beat this year! It will be located directly in front of the Century Center at 120 South St. Joseph Street, in downtown South Bend.

KID BEAT! 23 local businesses and non-profits will have youth art, activities, and special kid friendly food!

SBMA Mobile Art Stations: All day
Where children will be able to paint their own masterpieces! This years inspiration is “Beautiful Bugs”, celebrating our current outdoor exhibition The Festival of Banners.

Big Bubbles: All day

Sidewalk chalk paint: All day
To celebrate the new Smart Streets, we have sidewalk chalk paint to ride your bike through to decorate the new bicycle path in front of the museum. Don’t have a bike? We also have toy cars, and other items to use.

Museum Galleries and Retail Shop will be open to the public as well.  Hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
